Gloves-are these good?

looks like a good deal, let me know if you get them and if the palm side is grippy enough for climbing. A lot of those mechanic like gloves have a material on the palm that makes it hard to grip rope while climbing, if I could find some good ones for $5/pair with grip, I would by a bunch.

Just a thought - lots of stitching on the palm and fingers. Stitching goes quick in rough work.

I've found the ironclads and similar gloves to wear pretty well but I abandoned them 'cause the grip just isn't good enough, Atlas still rules.

I've been using Atlas RE-GRIP gloves. They're a cotton/poly glove but with much more substantial grip material on the palm side than the atlas gloves I've purchased at the Sherrill store . I purchased them from Carlwood Safety in Largo for less than $30 for a sleeve of 12 pair. They seem to wear like iron, compared to other atlas gloves I'd previously purchased and used.

Product number on the sleeve is RN48583

Item # is AF330XL (I bought mine in size XL)

Here's a link that shows a pair.

As I said, I purchased them by a dozen pair sleeve for a much better price.

Just contacted Arborwear ......
Strech Tech Pants are NOT available yet.
They hope to have them by ISA Trade Show in Chicago, &/or end of July.

I'm only a rec. climber, but have been using these for a couple of years:

"Atlas 370BK Nitrile Tough"

Very thin, very strechy, breathable, with very durable Nitrile palm & fingers.
(Nitrile is much more durable than normal glove rubber.)
Very short cuff.
I buy them from a local Amish shop for $4.75/pr.

[Since they're so thin they don't get caught in my hitch as easily as thicker gloves.]
