getting creative with zing it

just thought everyone would like to hear of my evenings project. cut off a length of zing it, cut it into 3 strands and plaited it. then figured, hey why dont i try to splice it, see what i can come up with, now i have some spliced plaited zing it.

any ideas for a use anyone? its just over a foot long.

i would attach a photo but ive only got a camera phone and the res aint that good.

Though you definately get lots of points for creativity /forum/images/graemlins/applaudit.gifand I just may steal that idea one day if I need it, why not just splice the Zing-it as a tiny hollow braid?

it started with a plait, lets just put it this way, i wont be using it as an emergency hitch cord, its late and the splices look dubious, maybe i'll hang a key off of it. will try the hollow splice, get out a nice small needle.

how about using it to hang your gear off. or maybe as a lead for a small pet. give me the weekend to think about this and i'll come up with some ideas for you.

I Googled "zing it"...no luck.

What is it?

Zing it is a small diameter line that arbos use for throwlines. One time I googled zing it and found that board sailers use the same line for their shrouds.

you need micro connecters, figure of eight, pulley's? we have it all...

i'm working on a micro GRCS at the moment, but it's still in development stage's yet....
