Suggestion, Concerns, Comments (not enough room in the subject line)
Hi - thinking of getting a helmet of me own. Ya, right now I borrow one when I climb. I am looking for something that might be able to cross over to white water kayaking. The one I have for boating is great and is about three years old but has a dent or two from failed rolls, ouch rocks. I have looked at the Petzls and like the Petzl Meteor 3 Helmet – Any helmet for boating should withstand frontal impact, underwater rocks, Believe me I know about them quite well, maybe I should just learn that combat roll or stay on flat water, (Na). Would an ice climbers helmet, the Grivel Salamander Helmet work as well as the Petzel?
SO with that – my requirements are Impact, frontal, side and top, be light and vented, water flows better out of vents then full helmets and one that would meet the industry standers for rec climbing and whitewater paddling?
Any thought, suggestions, concerns or comments. No dimpled chads please.
Thank you
Jz
