I have a 5.5hsp rig.

This is the gun I use now:

But how much higher could I spray with one of these?

I reconstructed my deep root gun and it now doesn't pool up to the surface like it did in some soils before. Little tweaks make all the difference. Now looking into tweaking for foliar sprays for bigger trees. I can spray around 30-40ft with the jd-9.

JD-9 and the Bean gun are the standards, but the turbine guns are where its at. i would say atleast 10-15 feet more with the turbine. they save on product as well becasue they have a better spray pattern

Thanks! I could have used it today. Just wraped up hemlock oil sprays for the fall (unless more jobs pop up). I think I'll invest in a gun upgrade for future foliar sprays.

The turbine gun does spray higher but beware you'll go through water a lot quicker. You can also adjust the discs in the Bean gun and the turbine gun to affect spray height and droplet size.
