I got this wild idea to set up my slackline over the river that's right in my back yard. I had some scaffolding lying around and was going to use that as end points for the slackline, and anchor the scaffolding to trees on the bank. There's kind of an underwater cliff about 7 feet from the bank, and, long story short, one set of scaffolding fell down the 30 foot ledge to the bottom of the river. So the next day I bent up some rebar into a giant hook, loaded my atv onto the dock, set up a log as a boom off the dock, and my buddy and I used the winch on the atv to pull up the scaffolding from the bottom of the river. I felt like those crazy aqua loggers on Axe Men. (It should still probably stay in the tree free zone, Tom

Anyways, here's a quick video I put together. I thought it was neat to extend the use of some of my tree gear and knowledge to other things; hope it's not too out of place here. It builds up some pretty good suspense, but everything went smoothly and nothing broke so the ending is really disappointing.
