The local university is excited about a new fungus herbicide to kill broadleaf weeds. Sounds like a local mushroom basically is ground up and broadcast which turns the dandilions white and they cease to photosynthesize.
They say Scots will have it on the market in a couple years for lawns and an agricultural product is in the works.
We'll see it could just be stock market hype for now or it may grow 4 foot grasshoppers we'll see.

The news reports were too brief so you get the university report. I didn't even read it and I probably won't, but if it's of interest to someone there it is.
