Thanks for pointing out why the world experienced massive inflation during and after Covid. Some place more than others depending how deeply they were impacted by covid. Here in America our president (Trump) spent a year continually lying to us about both the highly contagious and deadly nature of Covid and as a result we lost a lot of our fellow Americans. We also saw our economy and jobs go in the gutter so our government started printing and spending money we don't have to get us out of the massive ditch that Trump put us in.

Care to comment on your boys notion that the of the medal of freedom is "better" than the medal of honor?

No excuse except Trump says really stupid things. Constantly. Like every day. But I dont know anyone who is voting for the man at this point, but rather his policies. I still hate our 2 choices.

What policies exactly? But more so, what are his plans to enact said policies? He has no plans which is why project 2025 is a thing. He had to have others do his autocratic homework for him because he doesn't know anything beyond generic racism, misogyny, and populism which he uses to fear monger. Interestingly enough, when that 2025 policy project came to light, he had to disown it it was so bad. Much like shit on a shoe, it's stuck to him now though.

So again, what policy does he have that will make America great again? Remember, he had 4 years to make America great again. Wonder what happened then.
 
Violent crime was up under Trump. Millions of jobs where lost under Trump. Millions more American were without health insurance under Trump. Our national debt and deficits, as well as our trade deficit blew up under Trump. Trump never gave the middle class a tax cut, and it is in fact the middle class that is paying for his trillions of dollars giveaway to the richest 1%. I know Bucky and his ilk are all in favor of Trump deporting as many of those gawd damned illegals as possible, but the reality is that during Trumps first term immigrant removals were way down.

I’d simply refer you to his campaign website. He actually lists the 20 planks in his platform. Agree or disagree with them, but they’re listed.

Compare that to the Harris website. Lots of clickable space to donate or volunteer, literally ZERO mention of policy or agenda. It’s quite amazing really. So what are you donating to or volunteering for? Not her. Not her policies, which don’t exist. The truth is that no one is voting for Kamala- they’re simply voting against Trump- again. Such does he dominate the political landscape.

As I recall what happened then was global peace and domestic prosperity. Putin was in check and Hamas knew they couldn’t pull an Oct. 7 without severe consequences. Income was up, inflation was down. If you want to saddle Trump with the economic consequences of a once in a century pandemic, ok. I’d argue it was much more the governors who decided the economic consequences of Covid. (Forcing businesses to close tends to drive up unemployment ;))

Anyway, let’s not forget our girl has also had 4 years to make America great again. Would you say she’s done a great job? Are we united yet? Food prices, crime and the border all in great shape?

While we’re at it, I’d add that this “Trump is a dictator” thing is a little tiresome. He was already president. He was not a dictator. Not sure why that doesn’t compute. And as I asked Rico weeks ago; how would that work? Power comes from the people in America. One does not bark orders from a throne in DC and expect them to be followed.

Because we stopped January 6th from actually being successful. His own VP refused his order. Why did Dump not pick Pence to be his running mate again this election? Pence wasn't a sycophant loyalist who would overturn an election for the dear donald. Trump was not a dictator, he wishes he was. He idolizes Putin and Kim Jong Un.

I am voting for her because pro choice and pro middle class. But you are correct, I would vote for not trump just the same. I don't need a house to fall on me to know it would hurt.

So if Trump had somehow managed to be successful in his attempts to illegally undue/overturn the 2020 election, he wouldn‘t have actually stayed in power? Truly fucking delusional.

I will give Donny credit because he certainly gave it the old Whartan School of Business try. Asking high ranking election officials to “find” him votes. Fake elector schemes in multiple states. Attempting to stop congress from doing their constitutional duty in certifying the election. And on and on. Thank god our guardrails held strong or it would have been goodbye to our constitution, our democratic republic, and goodbye to the notion of a peaceful transfer of power..And here’s to hoping and praying they can once again protect us from the Trump thugfuckery we all know is coming.
