If this nation is crazy enough to allow this convicted felon and a known sexual assaulter of women back in the Whitehouse does the state of New York have any obligations to release him if his is sent to jail, or does he run this country from his cell? A jury of his peers found him guilty beyond a reasonable doubt on all charges long before the 2024 election, so it should be interesting. I myself am preparing to hunker down for the immediate future.I doubt it will make a difference to people that were gonna vote for him, and reinforces the victim complex many have, and so will strengthen their resolve to see rump in the whitehouse. But, it does make for some amazing headlines to have a convicted felon in the lead for a presidential race. Certainly a conversation starter regarding the post release treatment of felons in this country.
These are state charges so I don’t think Trump could pardon himself if he were to be re-elected."Two-thirds of registered voters say a conviction won't change they way they vote"....let's all just bury our heads in the sand mmmkay.
"No one is above the law"....yet Trump in theory would have the power to pardon himself (and don't even get get me started on how preposterous presidential pardons are).
