Somebody let me know if this thread becomes interesting again.
Come back in 18 months or so.Somebody let me know if this thread becomes interesting again.
Im sorry man. I just have to call you out for this line of thinking. The beginning of the end has been decades in the making. But it was put into motion by Trump?? Crazy. All you can talk about is Trump, Trump, Trump. I look back through all your posts. It's literally all you can talk about. Why? You replied to my Jimmy Dore vid posts saying you were onboard with almost all he has to say when in actuality....youre not even close. The point of those vids is to show you that NOTHING is as it seems. Sure Trump is part of the whole problem...but a very miniscule part of it. The media (Establishment) told you to hate him, and now you have an obsession. We are living in a giant rotten corporation thats holding hands with an authoritarian government and its sole purpose is to gain wealth and power and to keep us poor and uninformed. It's so obvious, I just dont know why you cant see it.![]()
MIT Predicted in 1972 That Society Will Collapse This Century. New Research Shows We’re on Schedule.
A 1972 MIT study predicted that rapid economic growth would lead to societal collapse in the mid 21st century. A new paper shows we’re unfortunately right on schedule.www.vice.com
I'm just gonna leave this here
This is all just shootin' the breeze. The best time to get ready for an emergency is when things are going well. Take care of what you can guys.
Edit to add: I post this here because I feel that chucklefuck's run in the Whitehouse set into motion what I see as the beginning of the end. I hope y'all are getting ready for the ride of our lives.
As a kid who grew up in the nineties I remember things changing dramatically, but there was still a strong sense of hope in the air. I saw the writing on the wall in '99 and began making moves that ultimately led me to where I am today, but it's much easier to say that with certainty with decades of data and the hindsight gained. I had hoped until about 2010 that we could turn the tide, but then really really picked up the pace and went all in on developing a self sustaining off grid homestead. With mine and several neighbors land and equipment, we could sustain a small village indefinitely.Im sorry man. I just have to call you out for this line of thinking. Since I'm a betting man, I'll Venmo you $50 tonight if you can keep Trump (or fu*%face von clowstixk lol) out of your next response).

Based on what you've said here, I am not 100% sure that you're putting forth sufficient effort to hear others words for what they are, but rather hearing things through some not so helpful internalized filters. This includes content you linked.
Before we move on, are you aware of the primary subject of conversation in this thread?
Im never 100% sure. Are you positive you are not guilty of the same things? I want to make it very clear I'm not talking down to you....but I would suggest you take a little time to step outside the box and apply the very things you just said to me, to yourself.Based on what you've said here, I am not 100% sure that you're putting forth sufficient effort to hear others words for what they are, but rather hearing things through some not so helpful internalized filters. It's hard sometimes, and I definitely have my own filters; we must all make diligent and consistent effort to be aware of them and make sure that we are choosing when to keep that perspective and when to adjust.Im never 100% sure. Send me your Venmo...I see you made an effort.
People knows deep down I guess @MatiasSo it seems that we've all been chasing a ghost @Pinhead Squirrel .
Seems that all in loved in the discussion at this point have at some point or another acknowledged that corporal cheesewiz is not any of our savior. When was the last definitively pro chump post written here?

I don't think you understand what anarchists are about. The underlying problem with anarchy is that is requires a high level of self governance by each and every person. It's a lofty ideal, but one that I don't believe humanity is capable of.Good try...
but that wont fly in this country.
Murray Bookchin
In the late 1990s, he became disenchanted with what he saw as an increasingly apolitical "lifestylism" of the contemporary anarchist movement, stopped referring to himself as an anarchist, and founded his own libertarian socialist ideology called "communalism", which seeks to reconcile and expand >>>>Marxist<<<<<( Socialism )
syndicalist ( which I dont mind that much in some levels . ) , and anarchist(C'mon...you dont wanna live like a Mad max ... lol ) thought.
Helluva post @JCB . Is this the same JCB from the other day? Please, can we all just take a breath and start this conversation anew. I know that free, creative, expressive writing is something we practice in order to explore and develop our inner thoughts, but reading the free-writing of others is not always enjoyable or beneficial, in my opinion.
Perhaps we can discuss what we see happening to ourselves and our country without trying to pin it all on someone in the news? I'm not talking about "pie in the sky," or "pulling ourselves up by our bootstraps," or ignoring the wealth divide that is now almost complete across society. We all deserve a more equitable piece of the pie, and the rich need to be reined in if we are ever to fulfill our potential and reap our rewards as humans and citizens. But, meanwhile, I'll bet none of us is the same emotionally or cognitively as our ancestors were--much to our detriment. What has changed in ourselves and in society that led to Trump in the first place, and what continues to draw an increasing percentage of people around the world to similar ignorant, dangerous despots? And what about us makes us believe that someone other than ourselves will fix it?
I benefit greatly from the perspectives of those experiencing employment, housing, and security difficulties because of their citizenship status, and why and how some folks choose to go off-grid because of what they see around them, and in preparation for what they foresee happening next. However, all of that information is much more valuable to the rest of us when it is shared in clear terms, built upon, and not merely argued about.
Matias has already widened and softened my perceptions of "prepping"(?)--and isn't it better that we all begin to understand why folks choose certain paths for their own and their family's near and long-term security. Others continue to work toward citizenship in a country that barely resembles the country of their dreams. Perhaps someone can share why they voted for trump, and why they might do so again. They have their reasons--and I'm sure they include motivations that do not include destroying everything good about our country and values. But what are they?
:spits out oat milk laughing:Hope your pants aren't " illuminated" with yellow hue with this simple question and u keep running away from it. Again ? LoL
