Well, it's not like he just suddenly got the idea out of the blue...
"In order to get elected, BarackObama will start a war with Iran," Trump tweeted in 2011, years before he began his own presidential campaign.
He also, of course, tweeted 27 times about Obama golfing too much, yet spent one out of five days on the golf course, in 2019, costing the taxpayers more money than any other golfing president. He managed to do this in spite of repeatedly promising he wouldn't be out on the golf course, if elected, but would be very busy doing "presidential stuff".
It shouldn't come as any surprise if the Iranians target golf courses in their revenge plans.
