Trump is once again conspiring and colluding with a foreign nation to win an election, but this time he is using the power of the presidency to run his grift. Now is the time for this nation to step up and end the criminal enterprise being run out of OUR Oval Office. Trump has gutted and shit on our democracy and if we are not very careful we my never get it back.

I couldn't understand why Pelosi took impeachment off the table the first time, much less now!

The only logical conclusion's that both parties are corrupt to the core, and have been for decades......

If Pelosi were in front of me, I'd be sorely tempted to wring her neck.

The thinking is this. If they impeach him in the house it wont get past the senate resulting in Trump not being removed. It would be a political statement. By doing this it will push swing voters in the middle back to Trump as they will see this as a political witch hunt. Pelosi is focused on winning the election. It is the people in the middle who will determine the outcome of the election. I personally care mostly about Trump not getting re elected. I don't think Pelosi is corrupt or a fool she is playing the long game. You don't get where she is, for as long as she has by not understanding the full scope of the situation. This is politics.
 
Further more what kind of corruption would be motivating Pelosi from not proceeding with impeachment? She must have a reason. It must be political. How specifically are the dems being corrupt in the context of the impeachment issue. Corrupt is a strong word that needs proof and clear connectable points. In Trumps case I agree he is way corrupt, easy to show proof. I don't think all republicans are corrupt, just the majority of them have chosen to sit back and let Trump do what he does because they are getting things they want, mainly judges.
 
I think both parties went beyond the point of no return 25 years ago.

Pelosi didn't try to impeach GWB for the same reasons she won't impeach trump.

it's a sink or swim in the sewer together situation apparently.

Let the fuggin senate go down in history swallowing trump's BS hook line n sinker for heaven's sakes.

The stupid fuggin dems look like they have no morals, ethics or principles that can't be ignored whenever it's politically expedient.

When the heavy parts of impeachment start happening I think we'll see how the process was built and timed. THere is a strategy in a sports season where the coach wants the team at their peak. Thats coming into the playoffs, not mid-season and then flame-out. Peak too soon and we could end up with President Punt. That's as bad as 'rump. It wasn't until almost the district meet that I saw how my high school gymnastics team built momentum. The team mates that went on to state had changed their sets all season. The strategy and timing paid off well for our team and our coach for many years. Th same strategy may be going on with Pelosi and Co.

In your view why wont Pelosi impeach Trump? Since both parties have went past the point of no return what would be your idea to replace or fix the problem? Simple 1 sentence critiques are easy, where do we go from here. I am guessing no response because if these were easy questions to answer there would have been some change already. I am not sure what you are advocating here.

Yes Tom I agree, there is more going on here than seems obvious on the surface. This has been the point of my other posts. Politics are a complex game. People think it should be cut and dry and go off half cocked at every thing.
 
I know dems are guilty as hell of stabbing FDR's blue collar base in the back, by signing onto the GOP authored FTA agreements. It started with NAFTA, and resulted in exactly what Ross Perot said it would.

The number of ticked off blue collar workers have ample reasons to grow even more irate, each passing day.

I'm think that any climbing arborist or rock climber could scale that silly border fence in a few minutes, tops.... assuming they weren't in a hurry, taking it nice and slow so that Trump's slow ass brain could absorb the simplicity of it all.

But, luckily, the Cheeto In Chief has MOUNTAIN CLIMBERS testing it regularly to ensure our safety against marauding Mexicans.
 
Just watched footage of Tiny Hands speaking at the UN. What a pompous, egotistical arsehole. It is a tragedy that we are such a forward looking nation, with so little emphasis on past history. tRump is spewing the same sort of nationalistic, racist BS as Hitler in his seduction of the German people in the early Thirties. Only thing missing from the scene is a massive depression to make the situation even more volatile and similar to the build-up to WWII. I cannot believe such a huge portion of the American people are so easily led by the nose and distracted from his trampling of our system of checks and balances, our constitution, and our core democratic belief in equality of peoples. Godspeed to the impeachment process. It can't come soon enough.

This is not about what we 'want'. It is about dire necessity. Anybody, a sodding ape, could do a better job, with less division to the country, less damage to the environment, less fostering of racism and nationalism. We have not felt it in our wallets and bank accounts yet, the one factor that seems to matter the most to Americans in general, but we will. We cannot have him pissing off the entire rest of the World at us without future serious consequences. These other countries are our customer base for American products and goods, and they do not have to buy from us if they don't want to. His negative attitude about Globalism is extremely dangerous. We are almost entirely dependent on a Global economy, something the ignorant dipshite does not seem to grasp. How in hell can anyone have considered him such a great businessman? Look at the string of bankrupt ventures, screwed contractors and employees, and innumerable other shady dealings. Look at his constant refusal to let us see his tax returns. There is only ONE reason to withhold them: to wit, there is serious stuff in there he absolutely does not want the public to see. Look at his shabby treatment of our allies as opposed to his sucking up to Putin. Pulling out of the nuclear accord with Iran and his stupid postering with the Chinese. His continual obstruction with the election meddling investigation is clearly illegal. The list of his abuses of power is just staggering. We have a whole range of reasons for him to be impeached, even imprisoned afterwards. One of the things that irks me the most is his frequent past scathing criticism of Obama for golfing. Ironic, to say the least. Six months into his term, he had already out-golfed Obama by twice over, at over triple the cost to the taxpayer for security, use of Air Force One and the choppers, etc. And his howling against the Electoral College in 2012. Of course, now he loves it because it is the only way he got into office. Add to this his personal failings, like his complete lack of any modesty or diplomatic tact, his chauvinistic treatment of women even his own wife, his egotistical assumption that the entire country loves him except for a small group of rabid leftists, his habitual lying and twisting of facts, his total disrespect for any disagreement with his actions from his own advisors and staff, and we easily have the worst president the country has ever had, bar none. A vast majority of intelligent people, both here and the World over, consider him a complete buffoon. And it is intelligent people who write history books. He does not have the slightest chance of being remembered by posterity in a positive light.
