FTC Meteor Throw Weights

Anyone try these? A little on the pricey side, but lead free, and possibly more user friendly.

They suck for setting a line. Blasts the bark off if you miss a little. And ricochet like a rock thrown against a brick wall.

BUT they are amazing for isolating or manipulating the throw line in the tree. Highly recommend for this reason alone. So get a heavier one for this purpose and you won’t be disappointed..

i own one, like evo said they bounce around so don‘t use them near targets.. but they blast through twigs/brushy canopy better than regular throw weights.

I'd be scared to use a solid throw weight. What makes it work slightly better makes it much more dangerous to use.
