Front Range Tree Work

seriously though I enjoyed it , the music goes with the relaxed style of climbing and cutting.(y)

like a ex military man can't teach us a few :)

Oh I can let loose a string of obscenities that would make Gunnery Seargent Hartman proud. I just tend to keep things family friendly these days. I have learned a few new series of vulgarities by watching your vids. Most all of them start with "bloody"

my bloody oath cobber.

sorry bout the derail Levi, I now realise we both have the same position on the left inner forearm tattoo'ed - something in common like kstreehuggerco using the same colour electrical tape on his saws.

Those pecker pole elms are a pain in the assets. I see your evicted that family of squirels that chewed it up. Why people let those things grow up between the lines like that escapes me.

Fun fun fun, I remember those days contract climbing in the big D. Im kinda jealous, but Im kinda not. Cant wait to do a day a speedlining tall Cwoods with ya. We will get some killer footage then. :bananahappy:

Here is a vid I made of a job I did solo the other day. This is my first time "going pro" and editing. It's a little long but I was in the tree for about four hours so hey it is what it is. Hope you like it;)

edit- dirty language in music:rayos:
Levi! How did I miss this until now? You're a man after my own heart. Great looking work, going for a nice crown clean and reduction. I love that kind of work and I wish we did more of it as an industry on the whole.

I really look forward to getting out there and climbing with you bud. Cheers!

Levi, I'm curious what's the deal-io with that group of trees. It looks like they were hedged before, maybe?

Dig the light solo rigging. I love that little trick. Can also use a catabiner to hold the bight off before lowering. Great stuff man. Nice how all that wood went down butt first.

Real nice work there. Your snap cuts are money. Looks like your saddle setup is all dialed in. Real clean.

Are you left handed? Mine is opposite yours...lanyard on the left and the quiver of cutlery on the right. I think I've had it your way but can't remember why I favor it the way I have it now. Probably the way I stow my chainsaw. Anyway, quite often it's almost here nor there...handsaw is in the wrong hand to stow easily before chucking a piece.

Keep these coming man. I'm diggin it!

The lanyard, maybe that's how powers guessed my handedness from a vid. I thought it was my improper chainsaw handling

Yeah Levi the videos are looking good, thanks for doing them and talking about windows movie maker. It finally made me sit down and figure the damn thing out. Now I am starting to go thru all my footage. And make more again.
