Craigslist, see those adds all the time. Firewood is largely a loser in this area unless it is an activity for someone to stay in shape.

I found that the best way to get rid of firewood from s job site is to pile it by the road and out a sign on it sayinhg

Never give a tree removal service carte blanche to dump "firewood" on your property or in your driveway. When I did that with one they dumped a load of very large hard maple full of metal and concrete in the cavities in the driveway! When I called to complain I was told the guy went to Vermont for the weekend.

Anytime I have someone from our community ask us to dump logs at their property I always call ahead to see if they truly understand what they’re going to get. With a 19” chipper, our firewood logs are quite massive…
