Four leg spider

I was at a rigging supplier's shop one day and bought the four leg spider. It's made from 3/4 Tenex and only cost about $30. Each end had a loopie splice for adjustment. I took the splice out to make the legs longer. The adjusters are made from Tenex. On one end there's a long eye so that I can tie a klemheist, the other has a small eye to clip a biner.

There are webbing slings choked onto the tree, clipped to a biner, clipped to the white adjuster.

There were six ash trees in a restaurant courtyard to be removed. Six cuts, put the butt into the chipper and go home with a load of chips. There was a nice trailer load of firewood too. Very little back muscle used on this job.

I'll take a picture of the eye tomorrow. It might take a few days to post the pic though because I have to reload all of my software onto my desktop. My laptop gags if I do graphics.

Thanks I realy appreciate the work. I know how it feels. I don't have a digital camera, so I have to develop film, edit, then post. It's not a huge hassle, just a bummer to wait for film to develop, to see if it was a good pick.
