Just drop it. It was located in horse pasture. The owners used a back hoe to push the debris where they wanted it. We cut it to manageable sized pieces.
to my knowledge steel toed boots are not a requirement here. However I do recommend good boots. I personally don't care for steel toed boots. The guy in the pic was a part time helper this summer and was delegated to driving the pickup to pull the tree over.
It's nice when you don't have to climb just notch and watch.. We just got back from a job were we had a large dead pondorosa pine that we just drop and it was a rush...
