Flint locker vs Petzl Treesbee

I look at Flint locker on Wesspur website and I cannot understand benefits of using it over regular friction saver. Please let me know what am I missing.
Btw, I already have Petzl Treesbee. Is there any benefit for me to get Flint Locker in addition to Petzl friction saver?

Flint locker is for SRT knot-blocking canopy anchor under the limb. Easy retrieval with redirects.

No. Not really. I haven't looked at a Treesbee, but I assume it's too long. Treesbee is a traditional ring style friction saver that goes over a limb. Flint Locker is around six inches long and goes under a limb.

With the addition of a carabiner, ART Snake Tail and CMI Anchor Sling will both work the same as either the Flintlocker or Treesbee, but with the benefit of being adjustable in length. The updated ring on the CMI gives a decent bend to the rope. I have really enjoyed using both. I mostly use them in the choking configuration for static redirects, and then as a friction saver to bomb out in thin barked trees (I almost always canopy anchor).
Just some food for thought, no intention to derail. All good products, I’m sure.

Yes. Let me rephrase the question: Can I do with Petzl Treesbee the same thing Flint Locker is supposed to do?
Just to follow up, I saw this photo today of a Flint Locker and present it here to show how it's used in case there was any doubt.

What does this do that a ring doesn't?

The Climbing Arborist srt anchor video I saw the other day had a slick way to capture a midline ring. Simple.

It was grabbing the ring midway through a fireman's 8, possibly. Also, I think it would work with a (double?)bowline on a bight.
I'll have to find the video and post it.

Good question. I haven't used a ring-in-knot canopy anchor. (I know guys will capture a ring in a Alpine Bowline in a couple of different methods.) Maybe because during retrieval the Flint Locker is free to float near the TIP instead of getting pulled down, allowing a gentler bend radius as the line gets pulled out of redirects?
