First Crane Job

Did my first crane job today.

Pretty straightforward, one cut, two picks. 2500 lbs and 5500 lbs... Needless to say, I'm hooked! Storm damage work going crazy here in Bend.

If anyone has facebook, here's my buddies link with a few pics...

cranes are a great tool as long as they are used properly and respected. good job. bend is a beautiful area to be in, my aunt has a store out there and i have been out to visit a few time, love it out there.

Yes, fun crane job to start with! Thanks for the comments all... Definitely had the adrenaline going! Didnt have to secure the bottom half, it was secure with the limbs splayed out on the roof and had a couple through the roof... No crampons jp, just tied in and cleared a spot to stand

The grove was a 40 ton, operator was smoooth!

Bend is indeed a beautiful place, lots of pines, but a great place to live, work in the trees, and snowboard
