First almost all women crew

Had a storm emergency call the other day. Large Poplar with a root plate failure. Lots of stuff under the tree so we called Armstrong Crane and they brought out their 150 ton on a Sunday and we knocked it out. We were finishing up and I realized the crew was a bit unusual. Left to right that's Kris Frederickson, Certified Tree worker and MSA TCC Champion, Lynn Welles, Certified Arborist and MSA TCC Chair and Rebecca Seibel-Hunt, BCMA and MSA TCC past champion.

I set a couple of straps and pointed at stuff.

So has anyone had an all women crew before?

Actually I know of a few all female companies. I know that Andrew Hordyk has an all female crew up in Toronto. He employs a past Womens International Tree Climbing Champion as well as another gal that competed at the ITCC. I've heard that the six women he has kick some serious butt at work and actually produce as well as his all male crew.

We have had 2 crews where half the crew is female. They have to produce or they get left behind. It's great because the guys have to be better than they are and as a result lots gets done. They have done climbing with the crane and ground work. Unfortunately, they have moved on; one to be a mom fulltime; one to hydro, one to other things. We'd welcome any applications.

Say, I know you. Aren't you from San Diego?
