Fire Engine K-boom

This is a pretty rig!

So, if a tree guy gets hurt while doing a crane job, will the F.D. finish the rest of the job?

jamin, there is a fire company in Maryland; (Howard county I think) that has a Palfinger k-boom on a truck for accidents, they use to lift cars and such. they have a hooklift on the truck too and can therefor change the beds, so they have a different 'box' for different accidents. Hazmat or person trapped in the car, etc. they can just hook to the box that has all the tools they may need and go with it.

i visited it and got to see a demo before i made my decision to buy one.

But, someone was thinking really well with mounting a K-boom on a fire engine. They see the versatility.
