Were you climbing solo in that tree? That looked like a great view, and a nice tree!




All the lakes around here are dreadfully low......we need rain so bad!

OPPS was i suppose to have another climber with me? OK - i miss that in the rule book.

Yes a nice oak. Three days later i did the pine next to it and got even higher into that one.

Ya be I, most times then not climb alone, but i do have open invites to all.

The lack of rain has caused some of the Dam rivers to have their releases slowed or even stopped. the trees are all showing signs of stree and i am sure the fall colors will be dull. The late frost and now the drought, my Hydranges are not going to bloom this season.

YES - we always use a friction save on the trees, I perfer the dan house sleeves and i have four, 2 in the 30 inch lenght and 2 in the 40 inch lenght for the bigger trees that I climb.

Video on how NOT to set on in a few days.

OH ok to explain.

I just starting climbing on rope in May and I had just completed my 24th climb in a tree on harness.

Sorry.

I also log all my climbs with information like time of day, the weather, type of tree, location, how i ascend and dbh and other information so when i climb that tree again or suggest it to other i do not have to relay on my memory.

SURE - throw bag - i am getting good at that

i could try the foot lock

BUT

work climb - it would be a shame to leave you guys laughing that hard and rescue randy would be getting me out of the tree.

and that other speedy climbing thinging is there an O2 stop half way up??

noone laughs...I have found that those who compete and struggle (me being one of them) receive nothing but cheers and alot of encouragement. TCCs to me have been some of the best days of my life. Jersey you inspire me. Im going out to climb my pines in my front yard. Why? because they are there. Film at 11
