Bandit 200XP - disc/gas:

Feed roller teeth seem a little worn and aren't grabbing material as well as they used to. Is this something that can be fixed or better to replace?

Not too terribly expensive to buy a new roller, can be a job yanking the coupler off though if it's oem. Bandit does have a press for the old style pins that helps big time. May want to get a new jb coupler if you order new feed wheels. Bandit does offer just the paddles pretty cheap as mentioned. A bit of grinding can help sharpen them up if not too nicked up.

when I bought my Bandit 100 many years ago the teeth on the rollers were the sawtooth versions and they were worn down. I ordered sets of the new ones that look like wood planer knives. It took a bit of work with a cutting torch to notch the sawtooth ones, not a big deal though. I can weld so I stuck them on myself without taking either the upper or lower drum off. I doubt that the whole project took me a day to complete.

This morning I met the guy who bought the chipper from me. I asked him how it worked and he said it was just fine...he even commented on how the new roller knives worked!

Nice Tom.

So if I were to weld some extensions on mine without removing them, how would I go about turning the feed rollers? Should i just weld what I can, turn on the machine, engage the disc, advance rollers, shut off machine, and continue?

And would I need to order paddles or just add some metal?
