this may just be the dumbest thing I have ever read. Yes a saw needs to warm up, due to tolerances in the engine, and being designed to only be under load when its warm, but no, you don't let it warm up for the oil to lubricate the engine, its a 2 stroke, if it has fuel, it has oil, and no, you don't do oil changes on a 2 stroke, please people, if you are writing an instructive article, have someone who uses the tools your talking about do the writing!
