Just wondering where the ergovation owners hang there chainsaw and handsaw. Also is there a space for caritools?Just wondering because I purchased one recently but didnt really look at the attachments in the back of the saddle.I guess Im used to My tree motion ,but i wanted to try out the erg so i dont have to buy a 3rd TM for a while.

Sounds like it's not working out. What do you want for it

I hang my handsaw on the the small two button strap that holds the velcro over the buckle. Now, as far as a caritool the large is the only one that will fit on the waist strap and sucks because branches get caught in it. So instead I use a paddle biner so it can lay flat against your waist.

I girthed a webbing strap that was just layin around. As you know now, there is some good space for accessories. Hope you get to adjusting it, and report back to us on how you like

I actually gave mine to one of our climbers. But i did hang the handsaw right below the lanyard d ring on the secondary ring .Its in a perfect spot like a gunfighters holster. The chainsaw lanyard is connected to the top center attachment point on the back pad.I have a small webbing sling girth to it the a breakaway chainsaw lanyard connected the sling with a caribiner.then i put a caritool on each side ,that way he could hang his saw on the side thats more convenient to his position,it always stays attached to the break away via locking caribiners on both ends.

bwitherson, is that an 8mm beeline laynyard on your right side? if so how does that work for you? I thought the 10mm was a bit to small for my liking....

Yes it is, petzl microcender grabs it perfectly fine. I hate it for anything with even the tiniest bit of shaggy bark. I wouldn't recommend it. I just had it and an isc snap laying around, so I decided to see how splicing 8mm was.
