Can EpiCord be hand spliced (class 1)? I just bought 20' of it on impulse, but I can't find the deets if it can be spliced. All these sewn cords are really throwing me off.

Yes Evo, it is hand spliceable, the outer sheath is extremely tightly woven. Besides that, take your time and be very accurate with your measurements. As to get precise eye sizes. Remember to take an overall measurement so you can get an exact length reduction of the 1st eye spliced. Even though TS, has them for sale for $29-discount. If you try, be sure to take pics, you should be able to get 5 28-30" i2i's with no waste! That's if all goes as planned!

Thanks! I found the TS cord after I posted this. I didn't delete because there seem to be two colors of it. I didn't know if they are different, like a repeat of bee line 10mm..

I spliced 10mm green Epicord a week ago. 5 feet is what it takes. I had 10" left and my hitch is short. Allow some extra length. I used Samson directions. Make your eyes bigger than you want cus they shrink. Gold/black beeline has to be Brummell locked like the link below, I think but am not sure that blue/white beeline can be double braid spliced.

Thanks man, I found the video on the buzz. i really like how he flips the second Brummell and it flips back. Cool trick.

I'm still curious about the differences in beeline, can blue/white splice like double braid keeping its cover over the eye? Anyone know the difference? A guy from work ordered beeline from TS and it was gold/black Brummell locked with core exposed like in the video. TS says black/gold can't be spliced but blue/white can be.
