We set the gcrs on the ash that stays. I ran up it and set 2 blocks and took the first tree from the ground.

Next cut on the second tree. I made the notch and back cut then got out of the way, the load line was going to hit my climbing line.

Lifted the stick to vert then layed it on the ground, I ran up to remove the blocks, the crew put everything away. Everthing stayed and we were out of there.

That's right. The top had a lower long limb. I put the spider on to keep it from rotating to horizantal. The spider kept it more vertical and easier to put on the ground.
 
Opposite view. This tree was a pain because of the lean over the house, the wires on both sides of the trunk and both sides of the house, and there were primaries in the alley. /forum/images/graemlins/mad.gif
