Elm tree RCX and SGR removal

Have you considered treating for DED? It is MUCH more effective when treated before infection. You'd have to trace branches with first sign of flagging - and even at that it's a craps shoot whether it will work. If you are leaning that way, I'd suggest treating in next couple of years.
Thanks for the suggestion. It’s not something I have any experience with, but I’ll definitely look into it. Are the injections typically done spring/summer?
 
We inject after early July...all the way through September. After seed drop is the benchmark.

It is costly because the chemical isn't cheap, and it takes a long time to get in.

I agree with @Tom Dunlap - Elm treatment is "more urgent" because EAB can be a reactive treatment but DED has to be proactive.
