I may be moving down to eastern Kentucky and was just curious if anyone knows of any reputable companies in the Grayson area or the eastern portion of the state.

Columbus is a growing market as is Nashville if your intent is just to get out of NE Ohio and that GD Snowbelt.

What is so bad about Kentucky? I get that there is not a lot of money in the eastern part of the state, but is there some group of people going around killing arborists in their sleep or something?

I like the state, not sure about opportunities for arborists in the rural eastern portion though.
