Oddly enough, I have that same two-speed transmission... hmm... I think I'd rather look at coconut trees than dead ash trees.

Just switched from the aluminum Climb Rights to the Gecko carbon fiber ones. They're a bit more comfortable, and a lot lighter. I put velcro lower straps on them, good compliment with the wide, upper velcro strap that's on them. Very fast to put on, take off. Very happy with them. But, I'd call them a nice tweak to what I had already, not terribly innovative, really... just a newer material and some slight changes. That's really all it takes, sometimes, to get things heading the right direction after a few decades of sluggish, incremental improvements. That's my take on them, anyway.

They don't give those Buckingham Titanium fuggers away, either. They were on my A list, as well. Just decided to try the CF ones, first.

I have carbon kk's and use them mostly but just bought back my original buck tis from the dude I sold them too...kk's are great ...buck tis super comfy and solid..nothing major except weight....lol
