Just got some of these little beauties for my lanyard.
I-beam construction gives 28kn but only weighs 70 grams.
Action on the gate is smooth and easy to operate one handed while hanging from a branch with the other hand, which I feel is vital with a lanyard biner!
Bought mine from UpandUnder cost £11.03 inc vat.

Yup, also available as screwgate or plaingate. Seems 3 ways are being marketed to climbing centres ect for belays so hopefully they'll be less of a niche market meaning more choice and lower prices. /forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Peter, I had problems with rotating carabiners on the lanyard.
To solve this problem I now have a captive eye on the lanyard.

Ok - the pic on the DMM website which I attached is of a screwgate but the biners I bought are 3 way.

I use a double fishermans on the lanyard rather than a spliced eye which also solves the rotating problem. Makes it too bulky to pull through tight forks though.
