DMM Harness

I’m like @Muggs basically the same setup where I adjust by sucking in, and rarely if ever pay out.

I had it drilled into my head that one needs to keep their belay device within reach at all times.

The only benefit I can really see of a payed out long bridge is as a replacement for a O Rig system. My long bridge is more than long enough to do that, and I’ve done it a few times, mostly on ‘low angle’ bluff or slope work. The tail goes around my waist and draped though a carabiner over my right butt cheek, the adjuster is on the left hand side of my bridge. I’m stupid right hand dependent

I'm not sure how much I will use the adjustable bridge certainly don't see making it super long. I was working on the tree the other day can't remember what I was doing but thought about how much it would be to make my bridge like 4-6 inches shorter I wouldn't want it that short all the time but it would be nice to be able to make that occasional temporary adjustment easily in the tree.

The RollnLock mod that Mumford shows in one of his videos works instantly and is quite foolproof. While it cannot be adjusted under a load, I have never found that too big an issue. I can just momentarily stand up on a foot or knee ascender to unload the bridge and adjust it with the other hand.

So, is that “bass gear” for like bass fishing or “bass gear” for rockin with Don Dokken?
In this case bass guitar I could really use a new amp that's small enough to fit in our living room and live there without her complaining but still has some bump, less important but shinier I played a spector ns dimension the other day and man that thing was sweet. I've got enough bass gear with the exception of a boat but with our sky rocketing costs of living that probably won't happen.

Gorilla made some practice bass amps that are dirt cheap to find. $20, $60 at most, lots of volume, small, and have that 80s charm.

Yea I have a pignose but I'm wanting something like a David eden or Gk 112 cabinet possibly a new head just cause my fender pro400 is kinda bulky. I have a 115 Ibanez combo from the 80s and it sounds good at low volume but not at what I'd need to play with a drummer and it's pretty big.

Slip knot stopper…

Only time I extended the bridge was the occasional limb walk back using SCAM method. Worked well but ended up giving up the adjustable bridge for simplicity. There's other ways to accomplish the same task but it's fun to mess around to see what works.

I have a homemade birch ply 4x10 cab loaded with vintage Ampeg SVTs. Looks like furniture, sounds like heaven. No pleasure fishing gear though, only the few remnants of the commercial days.

Nice I wish I had space for a 410 there are such great deals on them in the area right now.

I prefer how smaller harnesses fit, but I imagine it's a preference thing if you fit into two ranges. Part of the reason to have some overlap.

i‘ve heard there will be a simpler version at some point.
That makes sense. Roll out the super deluxe version then backfill with variations on the theme, possibly a little less pricey.

I'm another one on the "Who needs an adjustable bridge?" freight train. I run two bridges, one short (for spar work and a secondary while advancing alternating anchor style) and one at a length that is optimal for my climbing style. Meaning I can easily reach back to my multicender for adjustments when I'm on a limbwalk etc.

It is a cool design, good for people to have the option if that's what they want.
