Anyone put any time on one of these yet? We are waiting on a demo but figured Id check in the meantime. The dealer said even with the increased size and weight they are proportioned very well and don't seem to cause any more of an impact than the smaller loaders. ???

We have a 650 and a 750. Happy with both but the 650 is starting to nickel and dime. Time for an upgrade so the question is to go with the 1050 or jump to the 1550.

I've been happy with the 1550, but I can only compare it to a Vermeer s600tx. We keep the Vermeer when we need to fit through small gates; we use the 1550 for everything though. I think it's easier on the turf than the vermeer with the vermeer's 7" tracks.

Had to go to the dealer this week and saw it again. It's impressive. Your probably right though as we have full size track loaders. The specs on this 1550 is just short of a bobcat t190 lol. And $40k is getting up there in price.

I haven't used one yet but I did talk to our local rep about demoing one this week. He said he would be glad to bring one by for us to test out. I got really busy and didn't get back with him on it. I'll report back if I get to demo it.

Why don't they cover the sides on the smaller machines with a guard like on the 1550? Don't you guys have butt ends of brush piles find their way in there sometimes?
