When ascending with the HH, do you use the "over the shoulder lanyard" or another method to keep the unit upright kinda like with the RW?

Andy I was using the lanyard over the shoulder technique. If I keep it tight enough it will pull the HH up very smooth and give enough distance to grab a good lock while ascending.

Great job you did there with that film.

I think you did a nice job on the interior prune as it looked like insignificant epicormic shoots that you pruned, leaving a clean flowing branch structure that is mostly the feature of this species.

Some of those shoots were growing at old wounds / sites of decay. The tree uses those shoots to put on more wood where its needed.. I think its important to bring awareness of their importance to the industry, as far too many arbs are in the habit of mindlessly stripping out all epicormic shoots. We all have to cut a few from time to time, but please don't promote it as a good practice.
