Dead tree, a stuck cat, and the Captain Hook

I read the title more like "Dead, tree-stuck cat". This was much better than that. How are you liking the 9mm Ez-Bend? Does it knot ok?

To elaborate on the PMI 9mm EZ-Bend, for any climbing line it's all about it meeting minimal requirements for strength and overall suitability for the intended use. In this case I was able to tune my mini-Wrench, 8mm hitch cord, the right cord length and hitch to the 9mm EZ-Bend. There's nothing particularly special about the line it's just that it plays very well with my overall Hook system.

I was asking because I am using something similar for my hook. 9mm Teufelberger Patron and a mini Bulldog Bone variant specifically for the 9mm line from @surveyor. I find the Patron to be pretty stiff and have lots of memory, which is great when I'm twisting the line to change the orientation of the hook but is more of a pain in the butt when I'm trying to stuff a bunch of it into the small DMM bag. I have never handled the Ez-Bend and was just curious about how it may flake into a small bag. I'm trying to find the best way to manage the excess line is the long and short of it. Maybe stuffing it into a bag isn't the best option. Maybe I'm using the wrong bag. Who knows?!

It flakes very well into a small bag, that’s how I stow it on my harness.
