Knudeone/Dan Ledham snail-mailed me pages and pages of these fantastic, meticuloulsy, hand penned drawings of different dated and numbered knots he has been working on the design of.
We've tossed a few things back and forth; and using his strategies, have altered one form into a Double Bowline with Yosemite tie off, tied in the bight of the line. More of a curiosity compared to what he has got though!
i think that a butterfly should be loaded on 'both' standing parts/ends of the line. And the loop can be isolated weak point or loaded point; but knot is made to carry force along that long axis of end to end, and not just end to loop. Just personal theory though i guess.
i guess this person likes butterfly knots better than RescueRob; but at any rate, the Double & Triple Buterfly Knots
