I can't figure out why this is funny but it really is.

On the accent sub-thread
I've been a fan of Britcom most of my life and I don't have too much problem with most of the UK accents if I listen carefully. It helps that I lived there awhile.

But those Texas accents???? When I was in oil & gas I asked our Texas counterparts if Boomhauer's accent on "King Of The Hill" was real. They assured me it was. I watched that show for 3 years before I could undertand that character!
