Custom Saddle Ideas

MattyD, Good to hear from you. I have 2 inch webbing retrofit suspenders that I adjusted until I was satisfied and then put a few stitches in them to keep them from moving. Just looked for them from several suppliers I have used and best guess is that they are Buckingham which TStuff has about $20 cheaper than elsewhere. My only concern is that their write up refers to “elastic” which mine dose not have.

i made my own saddle a while ago. it has been a joy to use, and so far it is holding up quite well. i put around $300 into it. austrialpin buckles, DMM bat rig plates, and large ISC aluminum dee rings. i chose leather for the belt and legs. it is easy to work, looks good, and is very durable. havent had any problems with mold, and i have used it in the rain.

not sure i can get the pics to load

I modified a Cougar using Matt Cornell's Ideas.
The Hip rings are 64mm ID Pensafe, the Bridge Ring is 46mm ID CTS, the Bridge is 16 Strand 1/2" Arbomaster Bluestreak.
I used larger hip rings so the buckles would fit thru.
