ever get a job you'd swear is cursed?
it's happened to me a few times.
Once, I got this real uneasy feeling when we pulled up to landscape a house in a new development. The feeling just wouldn't go away...
at about 10am, a county sherriff's car pulled up, and a county coroner. they wheeled out a carpet layer who'd killed himself over the weekend, his body was in the house the entire time we worked there.
Another time, I was doing tree work for an older couple. Nice folks, but I always felt a little odd around them. I only ever dealt directly with the Mrs., her husband really kept to himself. One day, while I was working, and she was at work, all these rigs start pulling in. To make a long story short, he had been diagnosed with Alzheimers, and never told his wife. That day, he arranged for the coroner, a cleaning service, a mortician, etc etc, went in the garage and killed himself. He was cleaned up and gone by the time she got home from work.
the capper was the most recent job we did.... but i'd like to hear some other folks stories first..
