It is basicaly a two step process. First, you register and recieve some materials from TCIA. With that in hand, you complete 13 or so exercises that are submitted to TCIA via mail or e mail. The exercises are reviewed and resubmitted if necessary. Complete a safety program check list and you're all set.
Step two is register for a two day workshop and test. Pass the test and you're squared away.
That is the quick version. TCIA has all the details. Cost is best addressed directly with them.
It is a good program that will only get better. I highly reccommend it.
For those of you that are or want to become accredited, I think this program will become key in that process initialy and at reaccreditation time.
It took me about 8 to 10 hours to complete the exercises and reading on my own. Other than that the only time requied was for attendance at the workshop/test.
I would be glad to answer any other questions you have. hope this helps
