anyone else wearing these shoes? Basically styrofoam slippers. I love em. Kind of like wearing what I imagine moccasins to be like. So light I can barely feel them. A man can run in them, climb trees in them, they are durable and they breath. They sell knock off brands at target for ten bucks which seem to be just as good. Look a little funny but man are they comfortable.

I've been wanting a pair for a while now. All of my culinary friends swear by them. My mom says they're her
favorite shoes (as far as comfort) I'm sold.

I have three pairs. They are like walking on clouds.

Once you get past the fact that they are the ugliest pair of shoes you will ever own, you will never look back.........

I hate them. They are bad for feet because they offer NO support, and there are too many people (especially here in LA) that think they should be wearing them all the time.

barefeet offer no support either, are they bad for your feet? I think that is why I like them. they are the closest thing to no shoes that I have found that will protect your feet from splinters, glass and gross things on the ground.

maybe those people wearing them all the time know something you dont? :) I admit they are not very attractive aesthetically speaking, but yeah I pretty much got mine on all the time when not running a chainsaw or playing basketball.

My wife has six pair. She is a nurse and they are all wearing them these days. She keeps threatening to buy a pair for me, but I'm more of the flip flop type. Maybe I'll give 'em a try.................

I have what doctors call flat feet (no arch). After a day in work boots with Plastic arch supports the only thing I can think about is my crocs! I also run a pizza joint at night and to be on my feet for 15 hours a day sucks but without my crocs it would be hell!

I wouldnt climb with them with a chainsaw. But they are great for just messing around in the tree. They are great for footlocking. Its nice to be able to feel the branches beneath your feet.

www.superfeet.com The crocs might feel better after taking the boots off, but I think they are making things worse. Plastic inserts aren't the key. You must support the calcaneal (sp?) shelf, where the arch begins.

I've always wondered about the arch support thing. Some people seem to need it, while others do just fine without. I know a fellow who has been hiking barefoot regularly for over thirty years. He's got no feet, leg, or back problems at all.

I think some of it has to do with your foot shape, and the rest comes down to how you walk.

There is such a thing as flat feet I've heard from people, I actually have a close friend that tore muscles in his feet from wearing sandals and the doctors said he had extremely flat feet and he had to wear arch support.

I gave in and got a pair, it was the "turbo" strap that sealed the deal for me (only $6.95 extra). Then I saw a newer style at bass pro shops call crocs "offroad", my croc addicted wife is encouraging me to buy a second pair less than a week after the I got my first pair!! Reaction at work was varied from "nice f-in kicks loser" to "I admire you for having the ba!!$ to wear those ugly things in public" either way I'm hooked, for better or worse.............
