Creatinga Business Plan

I am starting to put together a plan for financing and future focus. How did those of you that have one go about it. Ive started in the past and found it difficult to define stuff. I am more "Euc than Oak"

TCIA has a few pretty good sample business plans.

You know. I use a basic approach to the business plan. I have Quicken software to regulate my finances. There are great ways to examine expenses and income there. I also record every thing. From recording so much information, I can then see where the business is and will forcast to be.

I usually do this in December when there is a slow day. Then, I set at least 3 to 5 goals for the next year. I have the plan posted up in front of me in the office to look back on for reference. The business plan is kind of like a standard for the year. It helps keep me in line.

Kind of vague answer, but that's what I do and I'm stick'n to it!
