Cranes cracking driveways

Here's an interesting one, yesterday I had a guy make me sign a piece of paper that I would be liable for any driveway damage, he was a neighbour to our customer and I could reach better from his driveway, after I inspected it to see if it looked like a quality driveway I signed his "contract", needless to say that was the most stressed I've ever been pulling onto and off somebody's driveway.

I'm surprised the job was worth that.

That driveway I broke a couple months ago was the sister of the customer (next door). Grinding a $50 stump took care of the problem.

I was confident of the driveway, that doesn't mean I wasn't stressed. Our crane weighs 76k, we don't do much driveway damage, mainly because we avoid the bad ones.
Wow! 76k! That must be some crane, seems to me with that kind of reach you probably can avoid being on driveways a fair amount of the time How can you tell if a driveway is good or bad? If I see a driveway with no cracks in it I'm automatically a little wary because anything I do is going to show up. But if I see a driveway with some cracks in it I guess I figure if I crack it they're less likely to care.

Yeah I'm digging that cab over rear mount K boom you have! Still kick my self a little for not buying that chip truck you sold a while back.
