Crane workshop

Last Friday Mahk Adams came out to Denver to present a crane rigging workshop. We wish that he wouldn't have brought the rain along We had a 52" plasma screen for his presentation which shifted inside. The talk was really great. Even though we didn't get to go out to use the crane the presentation stood on it's and Mahk's, own two feet.

Wyatt Sr. and Jr. from Highball Crane were there and added some really good points. It was really nice to see them nodding approval many times during Mahk's talk. That was the ultimate validation. Mahk was able to sit with them at lunch and get more input.

If any of you are involed with Program and Education in your chapters and want to host an excellent program, contact Mahk. He gave a first rate show.

On Saturday he was the Head Judge at the Rocky Mountain Chapter TCC for Work Climb and Master's Challenge. There were no conflicts or challenges so his job was easy.

Thanks Tom. I had a great time at the workshop and the TCC. It was also fun to unexpectedly run into some TreeBuzzers there.

You mean it doesn't normally rain like that in Colorado?

The workshop was indeed nicely presented. As for Mark's judgeing job being easy...... I don't know if it was actually easy or we just thought so because he did it so well.
