Ya each kid is paying how much? So they have the budget to spend $4.5K on a $900 flopper. Matt at Ear tech can retro fit your usual ear muffs with his radios, works slick. Just you and crane op in communication? Did you put new bars for the movie? Fun movie but I wish the scenes were longer so I could focus, I know the goal was to edit down to a short movie, but it moved too fast for my limited ability to focus.

Saw bars. I see they are new saws. Paint does not last long on a bar, so I thought the Stihl boys set you up with new bars, my bad, they set you up with new saws with new bars. I was fishing for a comment about the ridiculous cost of college these days. And the budget, anywhere close?

I just figured that out....duh! Truth be told they were both my saws and the bars were just in good shape. Not planned. I do keep my 461 in great condition though! I'm real protective....just ask my guys.

I don't know the budget for this. We spent three days on that project and had the crane there for two. We used it for whatever we could in those two days. You were probably close enough.

That is funny. Never assume because it's in the company truck it's a company saw. Do I use your [pick a different word] tooth brush? Then dont use my [pick a different word] chain saw!

You got it! I usually keep my own 201, 150 and 461 with me for every job. The rest of the saws are "company" saws. I may let someone use mine for a certain reason, but don't just grab it!

I had a 441c saw as a demo, that Mark had used in a training seminar, at least that is what I was told.

great vid but the music was terrible, is that all they had music wise?

sounded like Stihl looked up an online non copyrighted generic soundtrack source and typed, 'exciting' into the search bar and that tune came up first and the same guy then asked everyone in the office,

'hey guys, what do you think of this for that treeclimber video?'

then he played it to the office with the volume turned up full, and the office collectively gave a kind of

'yeah, s'fine, mmmm...sis'not bad dude' then someone who was feeling quite assertive that morning said loudly, 'yeah that's cool man! use that!'

and the guy sitting at the computer just downloaded it without looking up or listening to any of the other available tunes.

Way too fast to be of any value other than watching a Stihl saw cut wood. I already know that stihl saws cut wood. I was trying to see what crane was used and it was just a blur. Slow it down a little bit and it would have been good. Good job on the quick removal!

You're a little off base though, because it was shot and edited by a third party in a seperate office. Still good for a laugh though.

That tells us what truck it belongs in. When you work with multiple crews and they sometimes meet on a job to help out, gear doesn't always make it back to the right truck.
