Very nice all orange saw!!!! Hmm, I declare! Who woulda thunk it?!

Tom, that looks like the block with double sheaves, but they aren't in use for 2-1 or 4-1 advantage.

I'll guess at 4500 lb. Elm or silver maple???

Don't get too excited Roger. I'm not going to throw out all of my archive photos just because of color schemes. I did practice tree work for quite a few years and used 7 or 8 different saw makes(I think we discussed this before?).

Though I should mention, in all honesty, I have never spent a single cent on an "all orange saw" to date. The ones I had were all prizes.
 
Oh yeah, the other stuff. Well, Roger is right about the hook set up, we were only using a single-part. I like the speed better than the advantage. And I believe that the pick was around 4800lbs. and was indeed Silver maple. Good eye Roger.
