Selling our crane “as is.” It’s a 1988 Grove TMS518 with 70’ of main boom and 23’ swing under jib. We bought this crane at the beginning of this year and it’s been great, but we’ve since learned that we want something bigger with more reach. We installed a brand new computer on this crane that gives digital read outs for boom length, angle and weight of the load on the hook.
We are selling the crane “as is” because the cylinder in the main boom has sprung a leak and needs to be rebuilt. We’ve been quoted $7,000 to $10,000 to repair it. We’ve already decided we want something else so we’re just looking to sell it. This is a solid crane in good condition for its age. Passed inspection in March and is in good shape overall. Brand new cable put on in May. Parked it inside all year. Asking $35,000. All reasonable offers considered.
