Courant Squir

I can't find the review but somebody had written a negative review and had said it was the most overpriced colorful rope they'd ever bought. Sorry, wish I could find it but it seems you like it so thats really all that matters. I'm about to try StatX myself.
I have 3 hanks I got in the UK. Now that is a fucking rope. 0 bounce, static and smooth as silk with a hitch. Easy on hands, knots well and tough cover. Flew it today, sexy colour Black/lime green tracer. Love this rope. Boy have never like ropes with any bounce, and more than 2 colours. Dyes make ropes act weird.

I have owned a shit ton of rope. All the multi coloured ropes tend to degrade faster and have weaker covers. Also affects their smoothness with hitches as they age. Not a fan. Always go back to single colour rope with a simple tracer.....proven to be quality for me and my style. Not science to don't take it as gospel. Just my observations. It started with 11.7 yale poly/poly.

Milked a bit....not excessive.
I'm curious how much you typically milk off a 100', or whatever length, of rope. How much is average to you? I milked 2.5% of the cover off of Samson Vortex, but only 1.5% off of any of my Sterling WorkPro, and 1% off the Voyager- which is why I was annoyed at how baggy the Vortex turned out to be. I don't always fly my Zigzag, which seems unaffected by the bagginess of a given rope, and have now learned from you and others, the other benefits of a properly milked out rope.

StaticX or the Courant?

@islandarb its definitely a bit bouncy if youre running SRT all the time. I like the squir myself but I do a fair amount of moving rope.
@Steve Connally it might have been me. I posted about buying the Courant 16 strand line. I've been using it a bunch for removals working off a moving rope. I stand by my statement, it's not worth the price for what it is
