Curious if anyone has some real world feedback on this rope? Been on the Yale 11.7 for awhile, like it. Been on Yale blaze 11mm also like it. Curious about trying this in between dimension of the Squir. Predominantly using RRP or BDB. The 11mm creeps slightly, the 11.7 is tough to initiate a decent, I’m thinking this could be the sweet spot at 11.5 …… Also never climbed on a true kernmantle before so curious to give it a go.

I like it. Similar performance with systems to KM3max but has more bounce to it. Can feel a little bounce with a lot of rope in the system running srt with like a base tie or a super tall tree. Not as "hard" of a rope as km3max, feels a little nice to jump around on

I'm about to get some too. I just gotta know how an 11.5mm kernmantle feels. I have some voyager, and at 11.8, it puffs up enough to be a PITA to feed into a zigzag/zillon. They also have a bunch of pink variants of Squir that I was pretty stoked about.

Edit: yea this is happening Screenshot_20231011_174834_DuckDuckGo.jpg

No way am I touching the squir. Ropes are just too stretchy. Climbed on the kalimba today. Beautiful rope but not sure I can handle the stretch. Will give it another go and see.....it handles a hitch very well.

@Matias- my rope runner was adjusted for 11mm blaze, and the squire ran nearly perfect without any adjustments. I think that pink stuff is on sale at shelter tree for the month of October.

I don't have a ton of time on my squir but haven't noticed it really being stretchy/ bouncy and I'm normally on htp.

The squir seems a little fat on my rrp set for 11mm htp, still works but seems more jerky tending and decending, I'm like 193+ gear, a couple of the smaller guys on the crew (135-145 lbs) go from 11mm htp to blue moon with no adjustments.

I can't find the review but somebody had written a negative review and had said it was the most overpriced colorful rope they'd ever bought. Sorry, wish I could find it but it seems you like it so thats really all that matters. I'm about to try StatX myself.

I feel like it was average, or even a touch below average for price of rope. Didn’t find it stretchy or bouncy either…. What I like most is it stays round in the RRP.
