Well I just ordered from treestuff, the first in a LONG time. I generally avoid it at all cost, but I have an obscure chipper knife for my Gravely.. The price was the deciding factor, plus none of my normal suppliers carry it so no loyalty conflict.
Interesting the tracking info has the package coming from 'Vertical Supply Group'. I just googled it, and it seems its the corporate umbrella for all things Sherrill Tree..
The fuckers bought Sterling Rope too!

They bought Sterling a while back, which is why it’s expensive and hard to get now… And yes, I’ve been seeing the VSG name more…like on the front cover of the catalog I got this year that used to say Sherrill Tree.

Old news.

I can't blame them for growing their business. I'm happy to join the rock throwing when quality and/or customer service tanks. Or mainly, I just vote with my wallet.

I'm sure its old news, much is dated 2019. but new news to me. Looks like the own quite a bit, it will be interesting to see if they can hold on to the juggling act or the house of cards crash?
