Conifer Wasp

I was reading a little post at Cornell about a wasp that was causing real problems in conifers in upstate ny. I will get more info to post on this subject soon. Sorry I do not have more right now, just realized that I left the paper in locker at work, but thought I could post this for all tp start looking into it.

Ok got some info on the lil buger, Name is Sirex noctilio, so far lives in the 50 mile range of Oswego area of NY. Says that this wasp has devastated up to 80% of the pines in New Zealand, South America, and South Africa. If established in North America it will threaten pines coast to coast.
